Designed by Willo Perron, this piece seamlessly blends the roles of lounge chair, sofa, and even bed, offering an immersive seating experience that feels just as at home in a living room as in a creative studio or reading nook.
Expanding on Knoll’s ongoing collaboration with designer and creative director Willo Perron, the Bun Lounge Chair and Ottoman blur the boundaries of traditional furniture forms. With its generously cushioned seat and slim sculptural frame, the Bun feels light and airy, almost as if it’s levitating.

The Bun Lounge Chair plays with contrasts — its thick, mattress-like cushion is cradled by a delicate sling base, resulting in a look and feel that is both grounded and weightless. The frame’s elegant curves support the sitter in a relaxed, reclined position, while the minimal stilt legs visually disappear, enhancing the chair’s floating appearance.
Whether paired with its matching ottoman or standing alone, the Bun Lounge Chair invites you to curl up, sink in, and linger. It’s a cozy, laid-back nest that brings warmth and softness to any environment — without overpowering it.
Crafted with careful attention to both form and function, the Bun Lounge Chair features a metal frame offered in two distinct finishes: a gleaming chrome or a sophisticated ultra-matte onyx. These refined options emphasize the sculptural quality of the base while allowing the plush seat to take center stage. About the designer
Designer, creative director, and cultural polymath Willo Perron brings an unconventional twist to everything he creates, from runway shows for luxury fashion brands to one-of-a-kind retail spaces to live world tours for top musicians. His approach to furniture is equally unique.
Based in Los Angeles, the French-Canadian designer co-founded the multidisciplinary studio Perron-Roettinger with Brian Roettinger. Collaborating with his team, Perron creates large-scale sets and live events for some of the biggest names in music and fashion. He designed Grammy-winning record packaging for St. Vincent’s Masseduction album, and has worked with Cartier, Skims, and Roc Nation to create distinct visual language for each brand. In 2022 he received an Emmy nomination for his groundbreaking Savage x Fenty show.
