ABOUT COMPANY

Bakata Design was founded in 2008. Combination of
Tomasz’s Lampka’s over 30-year experience in the furniture industry along with creativity and passion for design his daughter Aleksandra brought outstanding results. The company has developed systematically, build a position on the market, and competently built the team, all that has become the young firm advantage.

In 2009 Piotr Skowronski joined Bakata Design. In a short period of time, he became the sales leader, and his actions significantly affected the company’s development.
We’ve become a family business, which in our opinion affects the strength and successes of our company. Everyone one of us is bringing their best experience, knowledge, passion for design, energy, pugnacity, and modern approach in business.

In 2015 we’ve decided to change the address of our headquarters. Expanding team and a necessity to create an exposure of our growing offer required larger premises- the firm moved to Przyjaźni street in Wrocław for the next three years.

OUR TEAM

2018 was crucial for Bakata Design- we had become an authorized dealer of Herman Miller – the worldwide leader in contemporary interior furnishings; brand well known for its groundbreaking ergonomic solutions and innovations of its products. At the same time, we’ve also decided to move the location of our company once again to our own premises with an area 320square meters on Haller’s street in which we operate to this day.

Bakata Design is an ambitious and forward-looking company. A Year later we’ve made a decision to open up a second office in Warsaw. Despite the Covid 19 limitation in March 2020 Warsaw showroom’s team began to work. We’re constantly improving and refining the portfolio of our brands. We are proud to represent both polish and worldwide known companies dealing with public and office interior furnishings, with Herman Miller as our lead producer. Many years of experience and professionalism draw the recognized architectural studios working in public interiors to cooperate with our firm –f.ex. Trzop Architekci, Massive Design, The Design Group, MIXD, Workplace.
