Blending elegance and functionality, The Midst Conference Table is a spacious focal point in any professional setting. Its generous surface, available in matte linoleum with anti-fingerprint properties or nanolaminate, provides ample room for meetings. The inviting design rests on a distinctive two-column base made of spun steel with a durable high gloss finish. It creats stability without a feel of heaviness. The three size options offer flexibility for different office layouts, while its clean lines and monochrome options—Black, Dark Red, and Grey—create a focused atmosphere.
Midst Table is a meeting between the poetic and functional. The name refers to the center and the table being a gravitational point, while its round shape cancels out hierarchy — there is no head of the table. Its shape naturally draws us in towards its middle, encouraging a meeting of minds and eyes. Our design process was one of subtraction and refinement. The Midst Table’s form and construction was inspired by an iconic architectural feature, the column, merging physical stability and steadfastness with a sense of elegance.
The tabletop is available in lacquered MDF with black nanolaminate top or lacquered MDF with a linoleum top. Nanolaminate tabletops are made using FSC™-certified (FSC-C028824) wood. The table base is made of powder-coated steel with a protective rubber ring under it. Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon. Powder-coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more corrosion- and chip-resistant.
